I have a broad interest in evolutionary biology. My previous research has included studies on sexual selection, speciation and the evolution of sex. More recently, my work has focused on the interface between genomics and evolutionary biology. Current projects include comparative genomics of parasitoid insects, RNA editing in Nasonia wasps and an evolve-and-resequence study into learning behaviour. Within the predicting evolution project, I will coordinate the experiments that will run at the various research groups. I intend to sequence the genomes of the evolved lines to investigate the influence of genomic architecture on evolvability.
