Two vacancies in Origins of Life/chemical evolution research

1. Postdoc Position “Asymmetric Autocatalysis”

The goal is to design genuine organic autocatalytic reactions for the control and amplification of chirality. In this project synthesis, stereochemistry, supramolecular chemistry and catalysis will be combined whereas kinetic and mechanistic studies are an integral part of the project.

2. Postdoc Position “Chiral Amplification”

The goal is to explore amplification mechanisms to enhance a tiny chiral bias in aqueous media. Towards this goal crystallization, sublimation and aggregation phenomena of prebiotic relevant molecules will be explored.
